About Our Academy
Having the passion for Fitness and Martial Arts, B-Phit Academy was established to further spread and create an awareness to the importance of physical and mental health through Martial arts. The academy is a sharing platform for the fitness and martial arts enthusiast besides giving an opportunity to push one's skills, techniques and confidence to a new level in a fun, dynamic way.
Our Approach
A non-orthodox approach to martial arts learning, being the student-centred learning concept, has been adopted to ensure and enhance the effectiveness of learning at the centre. Student-centred learning broadly shifts the focus of instruction from the teacher to the student. It aims to develop learner autonomy and independence by putting the responsibility of the learning path in the hands of students. The system focuses on skills and practices that enable independent problem-solving. Student-centred learning places the students' interests first by acknowledging the student’s voice as central to the learning experience. It requires students to be active, responsible participants in their learning. The system recognises each student's abilities and learning styles, placing the teacher as a facilitator of learning.
About Our Taekwondo School
Master BL. Teoh, after more than 15 years of studying under GM Foong and more than 7 years of instructing, Dynamic Taekwondo Bandar Puteri Puchong was establish in year 2009 with the encouragement of GM Foong together with other Dynamic Taekwondo Club instructors. Since its establishment, the school has been striving to inculcate and spread the spirit of Taekwondo and highlighting the importance of both mental and physical health among its students.
About Our Tai Chi Chuan School
In year 2005 after training for more than five years, Master BL. Teoh was accepted as the official student of Grand Master Lau Ngan Soon, the 5th generation of Wu style Tai Chi Chuan Master under the founder of Wu style Tai Chi Chuan Grand Master Wu Cyun Yau (吴全佑). Not long later, upon the approval of Grand Master Lau, Master BL, Teoh started teaching and sharing the art.
